Seal of approval for workplace health promotion 2024-2026
For the second time, the University of Graz was awarded the seal of approval for workplace health promotion (BGF) by the Austrian Network for BGF for the large number of measures implemented in the area of physical, mental and social health. The official Austrian quality mark is awarded to companies that systematically and permanently implement measures for a healthier working environment. The award ceremony took place on 13.05.2024, where Rector Riedler received the seal of approval together with the BGM team.
The seal of approval recognizes the initiatives of the entire area of workplace health promotion, both those of the BGM team and those of the numerous other departments at the University of Graz, which sustainably promote the health of our employees. Many thanks to everyone involved!

The University of Graz was awarded the BGF seal of approval on 04.11.2021
On November 4, 2021, the University of Graz was awarded the BGF Seal of Quality 2021 - 2023 for its special commitment to physical, mental and social health during the official BGF Seal of Quality award ceremony.
The BGM team accepted the BGF seal of approval at the BVEAB Health Park in Sitzenberg (Lower Austria). Many thanks to everyone involved!
Styrian health award "Fit at work"
The University of Graz was awarded the Styrian Health Prize
The University of Graz's workplace health promotion team received the "Fit at Work" award in 2021. The Styrian Health Award is presented once a year by the Styrian Economic Chamber and the specialist group of leisure and sports companies to companies that are particularly committed to the health and fitness of their employees.
The diverse and sustainable BGF orientation offered at the University of Graz convinced the jury and the University of Graz was awarded the prize in category 4 (companies with over 250 employees).
