Target groups and participation

All employees may use the BGM offer!

The target group of the BGM are ALL employees of the University of Graz, i.e. all those with an active employment relationship with the University of Graz. In addition to permanent staff, this also includes employees working in projects, lecturers and student employees. All employees may use the BGM offers.

Special target groups can be defined depending on the situation. For example, units or groups of people who are exposed to particularly high levels of psychological stress in the stress analysis according to the ASchG are prioritized in the development and implementation of measures.

The BGM aims to involve employees in all phases (conception, analysis, design and implementation of measures, evaluation). This participatory approach ensures that measures are specifically tailored to the needs of employees.

Resource workshop

It is possible to book specific resource workshops via the BGM. In these workshops, solutions for workplace-specific areas of stress are developed together with the employees of a department or organizational unit.

The workshop is led by an occupational psychologist who is bound to confidentiality. As the participants are considered to be the experts in the workplace, all the content of the workshop is developed solely by the participants. The occupational psychologist only takes on a moderating role, she has no advisory role.

A diagram illustrates the process of the resource workshops. The aim is to work together to identify sources of stress and resources in the workplace and to find ways to maintain resources and reduce stress. {f:if(condition: 'Uni Graz/Bregenzer', then: '©Uni Graz/Bregenzer')}
